Noa Bronstein is joining Gallery 44—a photography-focused artist-run centre that provides Toronto’s only non-commercial darkroom facilities—as head of exhibitions and publications.
Most recently, Bronstein worked at the Gladstone Hotel as director of exhibitions and cultural promotions and at the Design Exchange.
Her research interests include museum and gallery publics, alternative applications of traditional models and hybridity and pluralism within cultural institutions.
She replaces Alice Dixon, who joined the gallery in October 2009 and who is entering graduate studies.
