New Staff Appointed at Montreal’s Arprim

Emmanuelle Choquette is now general director of the printmaking-focused artist-run centre, while Marie-Pier Bocquet is programming coordinator.

Arprim, a Montreal artist-run centre devoted to printmaking and related artmaking practices, has welcomed some new staff this fall.

Emmanuelle Choquette, formerly administrative coordinator, was named general director.

Marie-Pier Bocquet has been appointed programming coordinator, succeeding Caroline Cloutier, who held the position for five years.

In her studies, Bocquet has specialized in the area of artists’ books, and she previously worked at the artist-run centre Caravansérail in Rimouski.

In addition to hosting exhibitions, Arprim also coordinates a student printmaking prize and operates a multiples shop. It was founded in 1978.
