Today, art dealer Jessica Bradley issued a release stating that she will open a 2,700-square-foot industrial space in Toronto’s Junction neighbourhood on October 26.

The new space at 74 Miller Street, Jessica Bradley Annex, will open with a group exhibition including Daniel Barrow, Sarah Cale, Julia Dault, Michel de Broin, Hadley + Maxwell, Kristan Horton, Jed Lind and Jon Sasaki.

Bradley’s original gallery at 1450 Dundas Street West, which she opened in 2005, will remain open Wednesday through Saturday. Jessica Bradley Annex will be open on Fridays and Saturdays only and will, the release states, “showcase works meriting a more spacious environment.”

The move continues to build artistic momentum for the Bloor/Lansdowne/Junction area, as Bradley’s new Annex will be in the same general region as Mercer Union, Scrap Metal, Daniel Faria Gallery, Arsenal Toronto, Tomorrow Gallery and other newer contemporary-art spaces.
