The Canadian Art Foundation is pleased to announce that Aaditya Aggarwal and Evan Pavka have each been awarded 2016 Canadian Art Foundation Editorial Internships. Aggarwal is the recipient of the online editorial internship and Pavka is the recipient of the print editorial internship.

The internships run for eight months, from mid-September to mid-May.

Working closely with our editorial team, our interns receive valuable experience in art writing and criticism, as well as print and digital publishing.

Aggarwal is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto. His work has appeared in the New Inquiry, Mask Magazine and the Zubaan Blog. He was an editorial intern at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival and at New Delhi-based Zubaan Books, as well as a copy editor at the University of Toronto film publication, Camera Stylo. He is interested in documenting family life, matter, and visual and oral histories.

Pavka is an emerging writer trained as a designer and architectural historian. His writing has been featured in The Site Magazine, ArtsEverywhere and Kapsula.

The Canadian Art Foundation received many strong applications for the program and would like to thank all those who applied.
