Canadian Art‘s tablet edition, available quarterly on the App Store, has been named a finalist for the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors’ Best Tablet Edition Award.

So far, some of these extras have included a special artist project by Iris Häussler in our Winter 2014 tablet edition; excerpts from Tammi Campbell’s Dear Agnes series and a video by Julie Favreau in our Spring 2014 tablet edition; and a clip from Edward Burtynsky’s film Watermark in our Summer 2013 tablet edition.

Canadian Art‘s tablet edition regularly features other artist slideshows and videos as well, with more coming up in our Summer 2014 tablet edition to be released June 15.

The other two finalists for this year’s Best Tablet Edition Award from CSME are Reader’s Digest Canada and Best Health.

The winner will be announced on the evening of June 4 at CSME’s 2014 Editors’ Choice Awards in Toronto.
