Longlist Announced for New Generation Photo Award

23 emerging Canadian photographers are in the running for this year’s prize, which offers $10,000 to each of three winners in April

This morning, 23 photo-based artists were longlisted for the Scotiabank New Generation Photography Award.

Three winners from this list will be announced on April 3—and each will receive a cash prize of $10,000. The winners will also be featured in a Contact Festival exhibition at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto in May, and in an exhibition at the Canadian Photography Institute in Ottawa starting in September.
