Toronto – Gallery Hop Talks & Tours – Canadian Art Foundation Gallery Hop

Engage with the art and artists of Canada’s largest city through a series of free tours and talks at the Canadian Art Foundation’s annual Gallery Hop Toronto. These free tours and talks take place from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Gallery Hop Day, September 21.

Among the offerings is managing editor Bryne McLaughlin in conversation with Public Studio at O’Born Contemporary; journalist Noah Richler chatting with photojournalist Louie Palu at Kinsman Robinson Galleries; and a talk by Hadley+Maxwell at Jessica Bradley Gallery. A full listing can be found at canadianart.ca/hopday. To plan your afternoon, choose a tour, several talks or a combination of both.

The tours and talks are prefaced by a panel themed on “Inside Story” at the Drake Hotel from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. And after the final talk of the day is the launch of the Fall issue of Canadian Art at Jessica Bradley Gallery. It’s the perfect cap to your day of tours and talks.

The car will be playing Prohaska, a sound piece by Cailen Dye that was commissioned by McLean specifically for the car. Limited-edition artist multiples will be available for attendees to take home. smart will also be conducting test drives at the gallery, giving guests the opportunity to experience this distinguished car.
