Montreal’s Papier, located in the city’s Quartier des spectacles, is an art fair that puts a unique emphasis on paper. Now in its seventh year, the fair is a notably accessible event, with free admission, as well as free talks and tours.
Canadian Art will be on the scene at Papier14 from April 24 to 27 with editors’ talks, daily online posts and subscription specials.
Join associate editor David Balzer at the fair on April 25 at 2 p.m. for a discussion of the many ways paper is used by artists today, from sculpture and installation to more traditional drawings and bookworks. Online editor Leah Sandals will also host a talk on April 26 at noon about drawing and its connections to thinking.
Want to know what our editors’ picks are for the fair? Or catch up on pressing fair news? Check out our daily posts on Papier14 from April 24 to 27 at canadianart.ca/papier14.
