Join Canadian Art, in partnership with Coach House Books and Art Metropole, to celebrate the launch of Lisa Robertson’s debut novel The Baudelaire Fractal and the Winter 2020 issue of Canadian Art, which features an advance excerpt from the novel.
In the Winter 2020 issue of Canadian Art, “Antimatter,” we’ve taken some interpretive, some poetic liberties in considering antimatter as a concept. Alongside physicists and researchers, the artists in this issue are thinking about systems, ecologies, erosion, alchemy—the changing forms of matter that reveal visible and invisible worlds, tiny details and wide vistas. This issue explores what’s possible when artists and scientists think together about the beyond-visible world.
Lisa Robertson will give a reading from the novel, and will appear in conversation with Yaniya Lee, Features Editor at Canadian Art.
