Join Canadian Art for an evening of conversation and performances to launch our Summer 2019 issue, “Femme,” an issue that looks at the experiences and increased visibility of queer, trans and nonbinary communities who use the term “femme” to describe their complex relationship with the feminine. Celebrating femme and femme-isms with irreverence, provocation, humour and style, the evening will feature artists and contributors from the issue including Spotlight writer and curator Lauren Fournier, performance art duo Leo Keiser and Jaye Kovach (a.k.a. Homo Monstrous) and artist Zoë Schneider.

Presented in partnership with the MacKenzie Art Gallery
