BNL MTL 09: Opening Open Culture

The Biennale de Montreal kicks off this week for a month-long sojourn into what it is calling “Open Culture.” Sparked by an idea from urbanist curator Scott Burnham, the festival includes works riffing on roadways, store shelves, park benches and many other city sights.
