Hanging by a Thread: Oakville Fibre Artists

This is the 3rd biennial “Hanging By A Thread” Gallery Exhibition the Oakville Fibre Artists are presenting to display their traditional and contemporary fibre art. The Members, a creative and prolific group, have submitted over 130 entries.

Oakville Fibre Artists are a group of 30 individuals, many whom have won awards, been featured in textile magazines for their innovative and beautiful artwork and have taught throughout Ontario. Meeting weekly in the QEPCCC Fibre Art Studio throughout the year, they work on their own projects, share their passion and ideas for stitch, beading, dyeing, felting and many other fibre art techniques using a wide variety of materials.
