Museums are closed. School is cancelled. The world is shut off and we’re stuck indoors. In spite of everything, Silicon Valet is pleased to present “Well Now WTF?,” an online exhibition curated by Faith Holland, Lorna Mills and Wade Wallerstein featuring over 80 artists with moving-image practices.

This sprawling international online exhibition contains work that shines—and gutters, and glitches, and GIFs—by a number of Canadian or Canada-based artists, including Adrienne Crossman, Alex McLeod, Erin Gee, Geoffrey Pugen, Jeremy Bailey, Jillian McDonald, Maya Ben David and Nicolas Sassoon, not to mention co-curator Lorna Mills. With project titles like “So Sad Because the Art Fairs Were Cancelled” and “Wash Your Fucking Hands,” this exhibition brings some cynical dystopian wit to distract from (or frame anew) the information overload, art-world privilege and sociobiological crises defining this moment for many. —Leah Sandals
