Since its inception in 1996, Toronto-based Angell Gallery has been at the forefront of the contemporary art scene, presenting emerging and mid-career artists who take risks and challenge critical norms.
Angell Gallery’s programming showcases artists working in a variety of media including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video and digital. The latter has become a particular focus of late, with exhibitions designed to showcase outstanding artists creating digital paintings, video, animations and GIFs. The gallery’s roster includes artists from Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, New York, London and Berlin.
