Editors' Comment

The exhibition showcases a full spectrum of Christi Belcourt’s artworks, from pieces created in the early 1990s to recent collaborations with Isaac Murdoch. Her striking large scale paintings mirror the meticulous and provoking beadwork designs from her Métis ancestral history, and honours the teachings that accompany those patterns. It’s absolutely worth checking out. —Adrienne Huard, editor-at-large
