A beautiful and well-designed immersive exhibition that invites you to virtually view the artworks while roaming across a digital seaside landscape of Puerto Rico. The project asks viewers to witness the effects of climate change, extractive tourism and colonization within the Caribbean through interactive digital artworks. Curated by Bettina Pérez Martínez and assisted by Simone Cambridge, the virtual exhibition is an extension of Pérez Martínez’s graduate research, highlighting relationships between oceans, identity, colonization and family. —Adrienne Huard, editor-at-large
