Esker Foundation is pleased to present selected films from the first large-scale tour of Igloolik Inuit video art from the Isuma and women’s collective Arnait Video Productions, a collection of over 40 works (short films, documentaries, and feature films) from 1987 to today.
Editors' Comment
With Isuma representing Canada at the Venice Biennale this summer, there is renewed interest in media output from Igloolik. This show is a chance to see some of the wide range of works that this community has produced, and to learn more about their enduring legacy of film and video production.
