WELCOME TO RAFF

We are excited to welcome you to the 10th-anniversary edition of the Reel Artists Film Festival: North America’s only festival devoted exclusively to documentary films about visual art and artists. To reflect the ever-expanding world of documentary film, the festival continues to offer a curated program of films created by renowned artists and filmmakers ranging from shorts to full-length features. Over the past 10 years, we have been pleased to present more than 150 films and welcome local, national and international artists, filmmakers, writers and curators to participate in the festival.

I want to acknowledge and thank all of our sponsors and donors for their generosity, and our opening-night volunteer committee, led by co-chairs Rui Amaral, Karen Pilosof and Marlo Szellos. RAFF is truly a team effort and I would like to thank Canadian Art Foundation staff members Rachael Watson, for her invaluable research and coordination, and Christine Shaw, for her assistance in programming our speakers.
