BORDER CROSSINGS: A COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT LAB

BORDER CROSSINGS: A COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT LAB
Border Crossings Community Engagement Lab

Fall Exhibitions Opening Reception: Thursday, September 7, 6 – 9 PM

Border Crossings is an interactive community engagement lab, where visitors are invited to share their stories and experiences with crossing borders: physical; metaphorical; geographical; linguistic; spiritual and personal. Animated by activity stations, workshops, community-built installations, and facilitated by the AGM’s Community Activator Sharada Eswar and artist Sonja Rainey, Border Crossings is a space for forging connections and sharing experiences across the diverse communities that make up Mississauga.

Drop in to share your story through various stations in the gallery, or participate in a workshop or event! For more information on how to get involved and details on upcoming events/workshops, visit agmbordercrossings.com or send us an email at agm.connect@mississauga.ca.

Border Crossings is an Art Gallery of Mississauga initiative, generously funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
